Nelson Mandela Square was converted into a gala event complete with red carpet, cameras and, of course, bubbly on Saturday 14th November.
The event being honoured was the South African Style Awards, which is now in it's 13th year, hosted by Jill Grogor, owner of Zebra Square and founder of the awards.
After posing, air kisses and impromptu interviews, guests were ushered into the Michelangelo Banquet Hall for the main event – honouring South Africa's most stylish for 2009. The evening was kicked off with a singing duet by Jen Su and Loyiso Bala, supported by rapper, JR. Alan Ford then took to the stage to announce the winners and present them with their prizes, which included custom made pieces by Shimansky Jewellers.
