Who’s the richest of them all?
Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen is the world’s highest paid model, according to Forbes. The annual list, released on Thursday, cements her power and appeal with US$45 million earned from May 2011-May 2012. Thanks to contracts with high fashion and cosmetics brands (Versace, Pantene, Ipanema, etc.), Bundchen is making it count. British supermodel Kate Moss holds the second spot with US$9.2 million despite her numerous high-profile campaigns (Rimmel London, TopShop, etc.), while South African beauty, and Victoria's Secret Angel, Candice Swanepoel secures the 10th position with US$3.1 million, and is the youngest model on the list.
