The future Queen of England loves her, and the current Queen is honouring her services to the fashion industry with an OBE (Order of the British Empire). Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen, has made the Queen’s Birthday Honours List this year. Burton, who started her career as an intern in 1996, is renowned for her visionary creations, but it was the Duchess of Cambridge's top-secret wedding gown that cemented her status worldwide.
