Kate Moss reinvented.
No one has perfected the effortless cool appeal of boho chic quite like Kate Moss. From distressed leather and denim, to knee-high boots, billowing floor-length chiffon dresses and fur-trimmed coats and bags, Moss is the queen of boho style.
Now, the iconic supermodel – with an ageless appeal – transforms into a glamour-laden lady, and looks just as good.
The chameleon-like model is the new face of Salvatore Ferragamo’s autumn/winter 2012/13 print campaign, and the transformation is incredible.
Gone are the fur-topped accessories and all-things boho-inspired in favour of a more elegant, mature and alluring Moss.
The 38-year-old fashion icon dons some of the luxury Italian fashion house’s ultra-feminine creations. With slicked back hair and defined eyebrows, the dark-lips Moss poses in an equally ornate space.
Photographed by Mikael Jansson, the campaign was shot in Berlin’s Russian embassy. The overall opulent look and appeal is alluring and captivating.

The collection, designed by Massimiliano Giornetti, Salvatore Ferragamo’s creative director, merges hard military lines with soft and fluid feminine styles. From tailored leather coats, jackets and skirts, to off-the-shoulder lace and chiffon dresses, in beautiful prints and details, it’s nostalgic and luxurious.

Moss is no stranger to opulent creations having been the face of Versace, and starring in campaigns for high-end fashion houses such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli. Moss first shot to fame as the unknown waif-like model of minimalist US fashion label, Calvin Klein. She has also headlined campaigns for Rimmel London, H&M and Mango.
Last month, Salvatore Ferragamo set new fashion records when it turned one of the world’s most inspiring art spaces, the Louvre, into a runway. The Paris show was one of this year’s most sought-after fashion events, due to its location, and attracted some of the world’s biggest stars, seen seated front row, dressed in Salvatore Ferragamo originals.
