Young Chloe Moretz has her eyes on the fashion world.
At 15, Chloe Moretz is a sought-after actress. Now, she cements that appeal with a coveted fashion campaign.
The Hugo star, renowned already for her fashion sensibility on the red carpet, is Aeropostale’s new ambassador. A line dedicated to fun and casual pieces for teens, Aeropostale’s choice is ideal.
Already admired by the fashion media, the teen with a growing fan base is set to help the brand generate sales.
Having graced the cover of fashion bible, Teen Vogue, in December-January 2011/12 edition where she was crowned a hot fashion face to watch, Moretz will headline various ad campaigns for the brand until spring 2013.

Being the face of a brand is a huge accomplishment, especially at 15, but being given certain privileges, often reserved for experienced stylists, means you are the real deal. According to Moretz she got to play fashion editor. Moretz also dabbles in a bit of styling and will curate collections that teen consumers are sure to embrace. “I get my own section, I got to pull my own clothes. Girls can go and see what I love and what I wear in the shoots. It’s a way for me to be in touch with girls,” she tells Associated Press.

The blonde actress describes her style as “fun”. A fan of skinny jeans and tees, Moretz has also showcased fashion maturity when picking high-end designer pieces for red carpet events (including Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry and Stella McCartney), and is a regular on best-dressed lists, as handpicked by fashion publications InStyle and Elle.
From green skinny jeans (rolled up slightly) teamed with a printed T-shirt and a lined cropped cape-like jacket, to a striped grey mini teamed with a denim jacket and orange high-tops, the current collection is all about cool casual dressing for teens. “Fashion is another way to hone your artistic ability and to express your personality,” she adds.
Aeropostale’s selection of Moretz makes fashion sense. “When we met Chloe, it was really an instant love affair,” says Scott Birnbaum, Aeropostale’s senior vice president of marketing and e-commerce.

With her evolving film career and fashion sensibility, Moretz serves as a brilliant ambassador and role model for teens with a fun and quirky fashion outlook. With a red-carpet perfected smile and pose, Moretz is poised for fashion greatness.
At 15, Moretz is not the youngest actress to headline a fashion campaign. True Grit teen actress, and Oscar nominee, Hailee Steinfeld became the face of Miu Miu in 2011, at the tender age of 14. Moretz will next be seen in Carrie.
