Actress Lea Michele is the new face of L’Oréal.
She is so worth it!
In true L’Oréal philosophy, Glee actress Lea Michele is worth it, and now she is the French cosmetics giant’s new celebrity ambassador.
The actress was rumoured to become the latest star to headline a campaign for the international beauty and skin company, but nothing had been confirmed until now. The 20-something talented star joins the likes of Gwen Stefani, Cheryl Cole, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé Knowles and Eva Longoria (to name but a few) as the brand’s face.
As the brand ambassador Michele will star in television and print ad campaigns. Although for now, the campaign is set for a U.S. release only.

“Growing up on stage, I was introduced to make-up at a young age and I will never forget the first time I tried on a L’Oréal Paris iconic lipstick – it was instant glamour and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve been a fan of L’Oréal Paris’ products for years, but it wasn’t until I was a bit older that I fully understood the brand’s message of a woman’s worth, which I wholeheartedly agree with,” Michele said in a statement. “L’Oréal Paris encourages women to embrace their beauty and celebrate their self-worth. I feel very honoured to be working with L’Oréal Paris to help spread that message to young women.” And while Michele gushes about her new beauty deal, L’Oréal will surely benefit from this deal, as the actress is admired by many female fans who will undoubtedly try to emulate her (beauty) style. L’Oréal Paris' Cyril Chapuy agrees. “Lea is fun, committed, genuine, with an inspiring sense of style, in total resonance with the brand’s values.” This has been a good year for the actress, who recently extended her association with Candie’s and stars in the autumn/winter 2012 campaign. Michele’s L’Oréal beauty campaign is set to kick off in early 2013.
