Job Description

FEDISA (Future Excellence Design Institute of South Africa) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Junior Lecturer in Fashion Design to join the academic faculty on the Cape Town campus.

You are a highly motivated, committed, excellence driven creative professional with exceptional Visual Studies/CAD (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign) skills.

In addition to Visual Studies/CAD your basic research and presentation skills set you apart from the rest.

You also possess good administrative and excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal competencies. You are fashion forward and keen to contribute to the fashion industry in an exceptional way.

Strong mentorship will be provided to the successful candidate.

Academic Requirements for this post:

B.Tech: Fashion, BA: Fashion or BA Honours: Fashion plus relevant experience.

 

Commencement date: 1 January 2018

Remuneration: R12 800 – R14 500pm dependent on qualifications and experience.
