Dirk de Waal is involved in diverse creative areas encompassing: development, direction and execution of concepts for live events and other media. These include: stage costume design, award ceremonies, product launched & events, fashion shows, commercials and editorial concept development.

It all started off in Hillbrow (the heart of Johannesburg’s inner city) and now the home to Africa working on the South African Fashion Awards which won a Golden Loerie Award for best event later that year…what followed was the start of a incredible journey: working on more than 400 projects across 3 continents as project manager and show director for Jan Malan/ Umzingeli Productions.
