It’s been an eventful two weeks in the Porsche Design Sphere, and sadly, today marks the end of the blog competition, but don’t despair, as I’ll be sure to bring you more news and views on this iconic brand as they will undoubtedly bring us unrivalled and fashionable yet understated works of art, be they in the form of clothing and home ware, or luggage and fragrances, as this design house seizes to amaze and entice.

It should be noted that there is a (forgivable) misconception that the Porsche Design House has a relation to the Automobile company of the same name, and although the founder of Porsche Design designed the famed Porsche 911, the brand has very little to do with the car/motor powerhouse aside from having been born into the Porsche family. When entering a Porsche design concept store or ‘shop-in-shop’, it is clear that there are no links to the car company, the only related ‘symbol’ being the 911 image on certain items such as cuff links or pens or a mini replica of the car in a gift box set. However, the same high standards and quality – if not better – can of course be found at Porsche Design, whether you’re looking for a yacht; piano or a set of golf clubs, you’re assured sleek design, comfort and the ultimate in design and engineering. And with celebrities like Jose Morinho and Kim Kardashian sporting Porsche Design clothing and accessories, you’re sure to stand out of the crowd and make a dashing statement in your ‘PD’ fashion must haves.

I hope you all enjoyed this exhilarating whirlwind of a journey with me and look forward to keeping you up to date on all the latest on this unbelievable company. Till next time, keep well and be sure to pop into the Porsche Design store at Hyde Park Corner soon.
PD kisses,
Fai
