Designer feature: Cleo Droomer

Cape Town College of Fashion Design 2009 Graduate Cleo Droomer, the recent winner of Elle New talent competition, travelled to London to partake in the Design for Africa mentorship scheme. An initiative of the Shaun Borstrock Foundation and the CTFC, it is aimed at mentoring, nurturing and empowering emerging South African designers. The aim of the foundation is to provide them with international experience to help them achieve their entrepreneurial ambitions.While in London, Cleo spent a week with the design team at Karen Millen and met with other leading fashion and accessories designers including Ally Capellino and Simon Harrison.
