Samaré Retail Group launched its online
website
www.samare.co.za on the 24th
November 2011. The website is an online platform retailing
South African apparel which includes the two house brands –
Samaré (ladies) and Zephyr (men’s), with retail space available
to South African designers looking to partner with SRG in
selling their South African manufactured goods.
Samantha Arendse
The owner, Samantha Arendse, has been employed in the
Fashion industry for just over 10yrs; where her expansive
experience encouraged her to one day establish her own Fashion
company. Through her passion for the industry and determination
to make a difference in the South African Clothing & Textile
Industry, Samaré Retail Group was borne in December 2010, with
November seeing the official launch of the website.

Her experience ranges from manufacturing, sourcing,
sales and client liaising and has extensive knowledge
within the processes involved from raw material through
to the supply of finish product. Over the years with
the downward spiral of the industry coupled together
with the recession and the scrapping of the import quota
of finished garments, Samantha decided that if someone
was to commit to selling South African manufactured
products, it would be her.
The mission behind SRG is that of LEAD S.A. –
“Participate, do not be a spectator”
SRG adopted this motto to assist in marketing quality
South African products not only to South Africa, but to
the greater fashion globe as well. |
